Battlefords RCMP received calls on four separate occasions over the course of 3 weeks to the 1100 and 1200 blocks of 101st Street, indicating that 4 young females had been inappropriately touched, but did not sustain any physical injury.

Government Trustee Bargaining Committee Releases Update On Teacher Bargaining

The Teacher’s Bargaining Committee has tabled class size and composition as a main issue in bargaining. Education Minister Gordon Wyant confirmed that an important and complex matter such as this needs to involve discussion with teachers and all education partners including local school boards, senior administrators, Saskatchewan Association of School Business Officials (SASBO), the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF) and the Minister of Education. Wyant has committed to working to bring this provincial team together with meetings to be planned as soon as possible.
