“You Are Not Alone” Project launches just in time for Mental Health Awareness Month

Saskatchewan-based female entrepreneur, Tiawna LaMontagne, founder and operator of One Heart Training is excited to announce the launch of the “You Are Not Alone” project, an inspiring initiative part of Mental Health Awareness Month. This project brings together the expertise and creativity of two other Saskatchewan-based women entrepreneurs, Kaitlyn Pasloski of Kate Marie Ink in Regina, and Sarah Ripley of Ripley Prints in Moose Jaw. The “You Are Not Alone” project is a testament to Tiawna’s dedication to providing Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health services across Saskatchewan. This initiative features custom artwork designed by Pasloski, which has been beautifully commemorated on limited edition sweatshirts produced by Ripley.

For every “You Are Not Alone” sweatshirt sold, $10 will be donated directly to the new One Heart Project Fund. This fund is designed to support charitable and nonprofit organizations in Saskatchewan by providing essential items and supplies, thereby empowering these organizations to assist individuals, fulfill their missions, and create meaningful change within our community.

The inaugural partner for the One Heart Project Fund is SOFIA House, an organization committed to breaking the cycles of violence by offering safe housing and a nurturing environment for women and children who are survivors of abuse. SOFIA House provides on-site programming designed to foster sustainable personal growth and long-term positive change, as well as education and awareness about the impacts of living in constant fear of violence. “One Heart Training has graciously reached out to us to find ways to connect and support our shelter and its programs and we are thrilled to be selected and considered”, says, Lauren Dahnke, Program Manager of the SOFIA House.” At full capacity, we have 20 women and several children that require resources that focus on mental health activities, or support. Through this project One Heart Training will be providing a variety of essential supplies we need for our programs.”

“We are thrilled to collaborate on the ‘You Are Not Alone’ project,” says Tiawna LaMontagne. “This initiative not only raises crucial funds for organizations like SOFIA House but also spreads an important message of support and solidarity. Through this project, we hope to remind everyone that they are not alone and that help, and resources are available.” The “You Are Not Alone” sweatshirts are available for purchase online: https://ripleyprints.myshopify.com/.
