TeleMiracle is celebrating 50 years! This year’s show will highlight the telethon’s legacy and the generosity of Saskatchewan.
TeleMiracle is a 20-hour, annual telethon put on by the Kinsmen, Kinette, and Kin clubs from across Saskatchewan. It acts as a fundraiser for the Kinsmen Foundation, “Saskatchewan’s Charity”. The Kinsmen Foundation exists year-round, granting applicants access to medical travel assistance and/or mobility equipment. Over 50 years, TeleMiracle has raised over $171 million for the Kinsmen Foundation!
TeleMiracle is broadcast live on CTV Saskatchewan and live streamed on telemiracle.com and their social media channels. This year’s event takes place on February 28-March 1, 2026, in Saskatoon.
Each year, the telethon holds auditions for Saskatchewan performers to be on the show. Becoming a part of the show’s “Saskatchewan Talent” is a great honor. If you’ve ever watched TeleMiracle, you know that these performers are a key part of the show and the Kinsmen Foundation’s impact across the entire province. In addition to performing on the show, performers are encouraged to fundraise in their local communities.
Performers of all talents can audition in-person or by submitting an online video. The Producers note that there is no advantage for those who audition in-person. Audition sign-ups close October 17th. In-person auditions take place on November 1 in Regina at the Kinsmen Club House and on November 2 in Saskatoon at the Kinsmen Foundation.
Each in-person audition is 15 minutes including setup and introductions, so performers are asked to show up on time. At the audition site, there will be a basic amplifier for those with pre-recorded music tracks. Performers should bring instruments or equipment that they wish to use.
“If you’ve ever considered auditioning, what better time than to be part of such a historic show,” says Tammy Blackwell, TeleMiracle 50 Chair. “The Kinsmen Foundation has helped citizens in need in all 4 corners of our province; we’d love to see Saskatchewan Talent from those areas as well.”
Dozens of acts will be chosen to perform on the TeleMiracle 50 Show. Talent and passion for TeleMiracle are the main criteria, but performers are also chosen based on talent specialty and community diversity across Saskatchewan.
