It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of James Michael Swab, at the Preston Extendicare in Saskatoon on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the age of 96 years. Jim leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his loving wife Julia; his daughters: Donna (James) Bergerman, Dianne (David) Willenborg, Sharon (Lenard) Watkins and Cindy (Bruce) Nienaber; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents, James and Julia (Galambos) Swab, his infant daughter Elizabeth, his brothers Steve and William and his sister Edith. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Wakaw, SK on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Matthew Nguyen as celebrant. Interment followed in the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jim may be directed to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
