It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Adam Isadore Orenchuk on February 27, 2019 at the ripe age of 96 years. Adam will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Gracie, his sons: Kenneth (Stella), Glenn (Carla) and David (Joni); his daughter-in-law Eileen, as well as his 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Adam was born to Harry and Mary Orenchuk November 22, 1922 in the Tarnopol District, where he also grew up to become an avid farmer and a handyman of all trades. Adam married the love of his life, Grace Dasiuk in 1953 and they went on to have 4 beautiful boys. His biggest pride and joy was his family, which was very evident throughout his life. Adam was predeceased by his parents, his son Gordon, his four sisters and his one brother. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Wakaw, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Matthew Nguyen as celebrant. Interment of the Urn will take place at a later date in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery at Tarnopol. Donations in memory of Adam may be directed to the Sacred heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery.
