Jennie Stafaniuk passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Chateau Providence in St. Brieux, SK, at the age of 94 years. The Prayer Vigil was held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Both Services were held at the Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church in Melfort, SK with Rev. Fr. Nick Ferreras as celebrant. Interment followed in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Cemetery at New Tarnopol. Donations in memory of Jennie may be directed to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery fund. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 306-233-4403.
